In response to this shift, the need emerged to establish a sovereign, borderless online government—a federation that exists independently of traditional nation-states but remains open to strategic partnerships with them.
Grounded in the universally recognized Right to Freedom of Association, the Sovereign Online State provides a lawful and ethical platform for citizens to unite, collaborate, and govern without infringing on the sovereignty or rights of any existing state or individual.

What began as a visionary movement officially became a global federation on March 24, 2024. This historic milestone marked the formal launch of the Sovereign Online State as a new chapter in global governance—one that belongs to everyone, everywhere.

H.E. KRMB Prof. Philip Oyani PhilSpirit (Osemudiamhe)
The Sovereign Online State was pioneered by His Excellency KRMB Prof. Philip Oyani PhilSpirit – LLM, PhDs, Ed.D., MBE, NIA, IPC-CL, CCC.
A Nigerian by birth and a globally esteemed intellectual leader, Prof. PhilSpirit is a certified International Law and Human Rights Law Consultant and holds numerous international honors including:
- Honorary Ambassador of the Javanese House of Nobility (Indonesia)
- International Intellectual Figure (KRMB)
- The Most Excellent Order of the British Empire (MBE)
- Nigerian Integrity Ambassador (NIA)
As the first President of the Sovereign Online State, he leads the federation with a bold vision: to inspire a new era of borderless unity, ethical governance, and global cooperation through the digital space.
